The bedrooms: peaceful, confortable, functional

The Domaine du Cauze offers four confortable bedrooms  each about 20m2

 and a 50m2 two-room suite.

Each bedroom is equipped with a large, confortable double bed (140 - 160) and its own modern en-suite facilities: shower, wash-stand and private toilets.

One of the rooms has two single beds in addition and can accommodate four people. It's our family bedroom.

Located in the oldest part of the property, the suite consists of two rooms of roughly equal size: a bedroom with a king-size double bed and a living room with two folding sofas. The en-suite facilities - shower, dressing with wash-stand and toilets - are in separate rooms inside the suite. We have recently installed a kitchenette in the suite.

On request, we can add folding beds in the bedrooms and the suite.

The bedrooms and the suite have an independent entrance with access to the garden, the swimming pool and the private parking area.

In honour of the rich royal history of Nérac, we have baptised the suite Henri and the rooms have for names Margot, Jeanne, Marguerite and Fleurette.

Henri is France's favourite king, the Vert Galant (the Green Suitor), Henri IV. Margot is his first wife, Jeanne his mother and Marguerite his grand-mother.

And Fleurette? She was the daughter of the head gardener of the royal park. Her eyes met those of the handsome prince Henri, one beautiful morning, in the park and she fell madly in love. In the evening, realizing that their love was over, she threw herself into the river. It is said that she drowned her sorrow in her tears.
